I've been to Seattle many times, but had never stayed in the Capitol Hill area. It's unlikely I'd go elsewhere now. It's centrally located to everything. And I was able to walk to/from downtown with no problem. (It's a mile away, but a nice stroll.)
I can't think of anything I'd change about the B&B itself. David and his staff were superb. Helpful when necessary, but very much out of your way the rest of the time. (In that regard, it probably helps that he lives next door, rather than in the inn.) As others have mentioned, neat touches throughout: snacks and beverages available, two computers (with printer), off-street parking. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. From crepes to oatmeal pancakes. It was filling, but also felt like you were eating something that wouldn't wreck you for the day.
I don't know that I'd consider staying anywhere else on future trips. It's just a great place.
