AAA gives this a good rating, but that is not the case! We booked thru a AAA book and dialed right up without seeing first, Huge Mistake! It is very very dirty!!! If you have white socks, wear your shoes, they won't come clean after wearing them in one of these rooms!! The place is very old also and worn down. My room had a plumbing problem, there is a trick to getting hot water, both at the tub and sink!! And it is located next to a strip joint! The place is $115 per night, but should probably be by the hour instead!!! It was a horrible experience!

This place was noisy, dirty and surrounded by adult businesses. Traffic noise penetrated the room, shouting from drunk patrons of adjacent strip clubs interrupted our sleep in the early morning hours, and the small airplane engines at Merrill Field could be heard starting at 5 am. A newer bathroom in our unit did not make up for filthy carpets, a toxic looking mini fridge and stained threadbare linens. Extreme deferred maintenance pervades this motel. For us, the gross out factor was not worth the savings.

Do not waste your time or money booking this "hotel". It is in fact very close to a strip club and not a nice looking one either. We were in Anchorage for 4 nights and needed a place to stay. The hotels are quite expensive in Anchorage during the summer months so we decided to be frugal and find a place with a little lower rate. The room rate was $115.00/night and it was no where near worth that. The sheets had hair all over them. There was even more hair on the mattress pad that goes between the sheet and the mattress. the hotel itself looked unkempt and the owner seemed to be a bit if a bully. This hotel should go on your and everyone else's AVOID list. Spend a few bucks and get a decent room. Or even better look for a B&B (Bed and Breakfast). Anchorage has several nice ones and they are usually priced fairer that the hotels.

We booked this hotel for the first two night, but later we came back to Anchorage, checked different hotels and desided to stay at this hotel two more nights, becasue it was best in his price range and has shuttle service.
