They have a Chief Engineer at this property named Pattrick. I would like to tell you that he is a wonderful asset to the hotel. He helped me with a problem I was having for several hours over the course of 2 days. His dedication to customer service does the Hilton Chain and himself great credit. This man truely knows the meaning of customer service and satisfaction. Without his dedication to his work, and truely caring about the guests of this hotel, my stay would have been a much less enjoyable week. He even stayed after his shift to make sure I was helped. It is truly rare to travel and encounter workers like him that really care about their work and the people they serve! Cudos to the Hilton Co. for having people like him in their employ! And THANKS SO MUCH Patrick! All the employees here were friendly and helpful. Good location.

We got an incredibly good rate at this hotel from the hotel website -- $71 per night.
The beds are incredibly comfortable, the rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the free shuttle will take you anywhere in town you want to go -- WalMart, Restaurants, Downtown, Airport, etc..... There's free hot breakfast every morning, and the rooms are spacious. There's free wireless internet.
I've seen rates on this hotel that are much higher, and if I'd paid $200 a night, I might not be as impressed, but for the rate we paid, it was amazing.

The Hampton is getting dated, but isn't too bad a place to stay. If, though, you they try to give you a room numbered 111 or lower, get another or go elsewhere. The pool is across from those rooms and the noise and chlorine smell are simply unacceptable if you plan on going to sleep before 10 pm.
Be prepared to take a little longer checking in than you might expect, and review your bill closely before checking out. Many of the staff are new and, as trainees will, they make more than their share of mistakes.

Business service (e.g., internet access)This was a great hotel. I used to live in Anchorage and stayed at the Hamptonn Inn and Suites as a cheap getaway. The room was very nice and quiet. We paid $39.00 dollars. That was actually walking into the hotel and asking if they had anything available. Great bargain. It is right there at Tudor and C street near the middle of everything. There are some restaurants right across the street. I highly reccommend this hotel to anyone wanting quality and value without paying horrendous prices.
