This property is very close to the airport which is nice if you are arriving late and want to be close to the airport. We were picked up in a shuttle owned by a different hotel and was a little confused as the driver didn't let us know that it was also for the Holiday Inn Express. Once we arrived, the staff was nice and friendly but not informative about the area. We had to take a taxi to downtown and back twice which became expensive, we found out about the bus after getting downtown on the last trip. The room was average and well stocked with towels. However the bed appeared to still have the same sheets on it from the previous guest as there were lots of hair under the pillows that did not belong to either of us. We mentioned it to the front desk but nothing was done. It was noisy during the night as guest would walk down the hall talking, I guest the walls are paper thin.
The breakfast was good and more choices than expected. We also requested for our priority points but was denied due to a $10 discounted rate. Our next trip will not have this hotel in our plans.

We stayed at the Holdiay Inn Express for two days during our vacation to Alaska. Our first stay was on aririval night, at 3 am "our" time.It was close to the airport, easy to find, the staff was helpful, courteous and our room was clean, well stocked with fresh towels and bedding and had wonderful "black out" curtains. It was a bit small, which we found is the norm for Alaska , but had everyhing we wanted including free in room wifi that worked without a hitch. Our second night the room was a bit larger, nice because it was the night before we left Alaska, you know the night when you are exhausted from tyring to see and do too much, need to repack the suitcases, fit in the souveniers and not forget anything? Again the room was clean, well stocked, and the staff courteous and efficient. We were able to order an inexpensive movie for our 7 year old to keep her entertained and help her unwind while we repacked.The included breakfast is the usual coffee, tea, juices, fruit, yogurts, cereals, muffins, etc, and there is coffee around the clock. An attendant keeps the room tidy and stocked. There are on site coin operated laundry facilities if needed, as well. We found the best rate by going to Holiday Express website, saved about $20 per stay over online booking sites.

I love Holiday Inn Express hotels because you know pretty much what your room will look like, the quality of the decor, the cleanliness, etc. I find all above average. The only minus at this location is it got very full (in July) and very noisy with people on the floor above me walking back and forth, back and forth (made a loud booming noise) and the people next door with crying kids and a loud TV. Since everyone seemed to have flights early the next morning, it quieted down around 10 or 11PM. On plus side: very short drive to airport (maybe 10 minutes), Mc Donald's and Wendy's and Quizno's steps away, lots of parking available, patio tables and chairs set up by front entrance.
