The first indication of poor customer service was when I arrived to check-in. Behind the desk were two employees, neither of whom could be bothered to help me. One was on the computer and said I had to talk to the other woman. The other woman kept answering the phone while I struggled with my bags. I'm drenched in snow and just want my room card. But I had to wait until the phone stopped ringing.
The room is okay if you like that sort of decor. I didn't use the in-room coffeemaker because it is on the bathroom counter. I guess they didn't get the memo about e-coli that is airborne when a toilet is flushed and ends up on all bathroom surfaces. I prefer not to prepare food and beverages where a toilet is flushed.
You can hear nearly every sound in the hallway due to a ridiculously huge gap at the bottom of the room doors (see picture). Some cheap weatherstripping would fix this issue.
When I unpacked I realized I had left something in the room. I called and left a message for the housekeeping supervisor. My call went unreturned and called again and left another message with a man named Jordan. Again, this call went unreturned. Finally, five days later I get in touch with the manager on duty who said he would look into it. I received a call later from the housekeeper who said they couldn't find anything. Very convenient.
I travel a lot for business, but will not be staying at this hotel again.
