This place has an old 2 pipe HVAC system and to save $ (?) they decided not to turn on their chiller. The hot days really heated up our room and the locked windows could not be opened. When I complained, the desk told me that maintenance would unlock my window. The guy who showed up gave me a lame excuse that “he could not find the tools he needed to open the window”.

A very uncomfortable night.

We just got back from a two night stay. Booked for $60 a night on priceline (bid). The lobby was nice but the rooms were outdated. The tv was like a 19inch but it did have alot of channels. The reason we stayed here was the location. It was an easy walk to all the Lincoln attractions downtown and the price was another factor. The hotel had an indoor pool (3ft at shallow end and 4ft at deep), a hot tub, a fitness room and a sauna. They have availability to the internet via a computer in a locked room off the lobby, you just have to get the key from the front desk. Self parking in the garage is $6 a day and you get to come and go as you please. The Clarion hotel (rated #1 on tripadvisor) looked a lot nicer, has free breakfast and free parking. I still don't know if that would make it worth the difference in the price. Depends on what you want I guess.

Great location to visit the Lincoln sites! Staff is very friendly. Hotel is clean, although a little dated. There was some type of convention at the hotel the weekend we were there and they upgraded up to the top floor so we'd be away from the noisy conventioners. Would certainly stay here again.

We were with a group in Springfield for a funeral. The location of the hotel was great but we were unimpressed with the facility and staff. The attention to detail is really lacking. It doesn't take much to have a checklist for the employees of when to dust public areas or when to do touch up painting. We found most of the employees to be uninterested in the guests (and we are very nice people). This is a sign of management that isn't present or doesn't care. Most guests will be happy if the staff is nice to them and the hotel is clean.
