“good for a night”

We stopped here on our way through the US. This time, we didn't have any coupons, so we checked on several motels. This one offered us the best price.

Firstly, the woman on the desk offered us 50$ incl. Tax, but when we came back with our luggage, she was gone and the guy who was on the desk now, charged us 55$. Well, not a too good start, but we took the room anyway.

The room was good-sized and clean. It came with TV, some comfortable seats and a fridge.

It's located safe and is close to some restaurants (try out Mike's on the other side of the street!!!!) and some shops are close too.

Altogether it was a good night, price could have been a little lower though...but it sure was ok for one night.

Stayed one night on the way to St. Louis. Average motel and good for one night stay. Our room is reasonably clean and staff is helpful in answering our questions. Breakfast is included in your room rate. It is a cheap breakfast ( toast, bananas and few other things, not much choice) but good enough for the money that you pay for the motel. Location is very convenient and there are few restaurents around this place.

dark, cave like halls. drunk man accosted my wife. manager moved us to new room. elevator inspection sticker NOT up to date. room stank. room door would not open w/ the door key/card. when room door did open, it would not lock from the outside. desk person acted as though he were being bothered. the place gave me the creeps. we got a refund and went to the microtel inns and suites a few miles away. very satified at microtel. do not stay at the super eight. do not stay at the super eight.
