Stayed for a couple of nights. The "historical" building (circa 1843) is nicely renovated. So it may be an attractive place for Martha Stewart fans, and the other guests indeed seemed to belong to this crowd. The room I got was pretty small (in America standards) and somewhat claustrophobic. I asked to move but my request was rejected although I noticed very clearly that other rooms were available, as confirmed by the receptionist. I guess the owner had other considerations in mind. For me the level of service is critical and much more important than the fake Victorian decoration in the bathroom. The "full" breakfast was also not so great, just a pile of scrambled eggs and orange juice. The good thing is that there are plenty of better B&B around the Harvard square. Next time I will ask my secretary to choose a different one. You should do the same.
