Our stay at the Applebutter Inn was absolutely wonderful. Barbara and Michael, the innkeepers, are warm and welcoming, and have created a home away from home. The breakfasts were creative and delicious, and the surroundings were magical. We can't wait to return!

This fabulous Inn is a Treasure and a true find. We just returned from celebrating our 10th anniversary and it could not have been more special due to the Applebutter Inn and its owners Michael and Barbara. The Inn is warm and so cozy and the Inn Keepers are amazingly helpful in suggesting nearby activities and restaurants. The "Gourmet Breakfast" that is advertised is an understatement! They were truly delicious, surprising and served with love and graciousness. Easily on par with any five star restaurant if not better! We loved our room, "The Pippen" named after an apple as are all 5 or 6 rooms in the Inn. We wanted to stay longer just to spend more time in the lovely rooms through out the Inn. 4:00 tea, coffee and a fabulous baked goodie were available each day. Truly the best Inn we have ever stayed in and cannot wait to return for our anniversary next year or even sooner.

This is a clean and comfortable country Inn---away from the noise an in-town Inn may have, and full of personalized hospitality thanks to two consciencious innkeepers. It's easy to find. There are many attractions and restaurants in the area, info to which Michael and Barbara keep readily at hand for guests. They went WAY out of their way to accomodate my food allergy; breakfast is delicious, hearty and MOST GOURMET!

This is an inn of considerable charm and of breakfasts of extraordinary quality. If you are in the Woodstock area of Vermont then this place must be considered first. If there were to be any issues then its location, some 4 or 5 miles from the nearest restaurant, might be of concern but this is a small matter when considering all the overall quality of this very peaceful and embracing establishment.
