My husband and I dined at Canoe for our 10th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience. We had an 8:15 reservation, arrived a few minutes early, and were seated promptly. My only disappointment was where we were seated. I had envisioned a very romantic dinner overlooking the river, but we were seated in a booth next to the kitchen. This was not a very romantic atmosphere. I should have requested a table with a view of the river, and then it would have been romantic. The food was excellent though and the server was very attentive. The breads are wonderful that they serve you before your meal. When we arrived the hostess wished us a happy anniversary, our server wished us happy anniversary before we left and we were even served a complimentary white chocolate mousse dessert and the words "Happy Anniversary" were written in chocolate on the plate. We had a wonderful experience and the price was what I expected to pay for an anniversary dinner. The food was DEFINITELY worth the money! I hope to return again sometime in the future. (I'll be sure to request a differnent seating location!)

I had a business dinner at Canoe last night. The service was amazing. Very attentive but not to the point of being annoying.
Great choice of entrees and all cooked to perfection. The bread is great as are the desserts. We were seated quickly and spent over two hours eating and talking. No pressure to leave the table even though the dining room was packed and no outdoor seating was used due to severe rainstorm. I will return to this wonderful restaurant. Reservations are a great idea....even during the week.

We ate here for my grandparents 55th anniversary. This was my second time to eat here and just as good as I remembered. The view is wonderful as is the service and food.

My husband and I got engaged at Canoe over 3 years ago. It was very special we had an after dinner drink down by the river at tables they have set up. As soon as our waiter saw my husband propose he brought down Champagne on the house. We have always had wonderful service and great food. We have gone back 2 times since and always loved. We went last month for my birthday. They were having a wonderful seafood appitizer but my husband does not eat seafood so the chef made it into a main course for me. It was out of this world my husband had leg of lamb that fell off the bone. If you are looking for great food, great view and service that is not stuffy this is the place to go.
