I am sooooo happy that I decided to take this hotel over a 3 star one with worse reviews. I would DEFINITELY stay here again no matter what my budget. I don't think I can think of anything negative to say.

Free Wifi was great. Free breakfast was great. Big comfortable bed. Walking distance to the mall. The staff was really nice. My room was clean (I only stayed one night so I don't know how the housekeeping is in-between). Nice smelling shampoo AND conditioner was provided - sometimes this is lacking in hotels under 3 stars. Free newspaper. Comfy lobby to eat and watch the news on tv.

For someone that needed a comfortable place to stay for a meeting in Frederick the next morning this met my needs and the price was even under my budget!

I am staying a full month at this hotel and am enjoying it very much. It has been renovated within the last year and is very clean and comfortable (earlier comments written by others that complain were before the renovations). I have a fairly large room with a king bed, overstuffed chair w/ ottaman, desk, nice size refridge and microwave, and more. Plus the phone has message service for when I miss a call. Every morning I enjoy a continental breakfast. Currently, on Wednesday evenings, the hotel has appetizers and beverages for all guest at no charge. I enjoyed hotwings, vegies, cheese and beer last Wed evening. The staff is soooo friendly and always eager to help with anything at all. I would definately stay here again.

I was in Frederick for a meeting, and this place filled my needs. Free HS Internet was reliable, the price was $40 less than the next door full service Holiday Inn, which my colleagues didn't like as much.

I loved the morning breakfast, with local fresh fruit. The staff was really nice and charming, I thought.

The public areas were ok, though the corridor to my room was dingy and a bit smelly; lots of spilled beer and cigarette smoke smell. They will need to steam or replace the carpets soon.

The room was very clean, the bed was extra-comfy, and the bathroom spotless with good water pressure. Lighting was bright throughout.

When I returned at night I was nervous at the sight of a bunch of good old boys talking and drinking in the corridor, but once my door was shut, it was very quiet.

Until Frederick gets its own downtown hotel, this will be my choice for Central Maryland hotels.

This Holiday Inn Express is clean, comfortable, and quiet. It is located at the edge of the largest mall in Frederick, so it is close to lots of shopping. There are many restaraunts within close walking distance of this hotel. It is also quite close to I-270/I-70/US 15/US 340, so it is convenient for getting on the road quickly for day trips to Antietam, Gettysburg, Harper's Ferry, or the Prime Outlets in Hagerstown, MD.
