My family stayed at this hotel for four nights. It was wonderful. The hotel itself is clean, the beds very comfortable, the rooms large, great water pressure in the shower, terrific housekeeping and was very quiet even though we were right by the pool. The staff is very good at closing the pool at the stated time. The pool is a little small but very nice, there is miniature golf, foosball and a ping pong table that my kids loved. The resturant is very good with a friendly staff. The hotel is convenient to the mall, movie theaters, LOTS of resturants, shopping (other than the mall) and the historic district. We are seasoned travelers and could not find one thing wrong with this property. Highly recommend this property!

I had reserved a non-smoking room, they claimed I hadn't, and since it was late I figured how bad could it be - So I went ahead and took the keys. What a mistake, the smell was unbelievably disgusting. I second the previous comment about slimy water. Make sure you get a renovated room, otherwise consider sleeping in your car.

The shower head did not work and the water is not treated. Hard water comes out of the tap and it leaves you feeling slimey. It is the most disgusting feeling as you never feel clean. You feel as if you cannot rinse soap off your skin. Also, the pillows are terrible and the air conditioning works when it wants to. This place is a dump. But, I've yet to find a decent place to stay in Frederick, Maryland.

My husband and I just got back from a weekend getaway in Frederick, Maryland. We stayed at this hotel because of all the amenities and it was really nice. They have a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, fooseball, ping pong, real nice exercise room, small miniature golf course and some video games- all in a big atrium area that is very warm. The room was very spacious and thought the shower area was well designed. The rooms were very quiet. It is right next to the Francis Scott Key mall with lots of good shopping. The restaurant had delicious broiled crab cakes and my husband loved their belgium waffles and french toast. On Saturday we drove the short drive to old town part of Frederick and walked through lots of shops and ate lunch there. I learned that the first Saturday of the month is very special because stores stay open late. First Saturday in May is also a big Mayfest- so we missed that by a week and looks like it would be a lot of fun. Walked to see the beautiful painted bridge and got to see it some, but it was fenced off right now for some construction to make a better park around it. If you're looking for a nice hotel, with great amenities and near some things to do for a weekend getaway- I definitely recommend this hotel.
