Absolutely first class.

Beautiful room ( we had the luxury one with the four-poster bed) - top class shower room, TV etc., and a pot of tea on arrival, served by a smiling host.

The dining room is in one of the conservatories, and is very smart and comfortable. There's a big TV on quietly in the corner for those who want to see the news with their breakfast, of which there are various choices eg. full english, low fat and others. Fruit and cornflakes etc. as well.

You get your own room key so you can come and go as you please. Our room looked out over a pond which has a fountain and resident ducks (including Eiders) that quack gently around the place, and you can watch them from the balcony / deck that runs full length along the extension which houses three of the rooms.

Loads of trees surround it and the whole thing is very rural.

They have a heated pool but didn't get around to that.

There's a large pub not far down the road if you want it - wind up torches are provided in the rooms for getting around in the dark.

Parking is dead easy ( round the back ) and a garage is available for motor cycles !! - gravel drive, but OK.

If you go to stay in North Norfolk, get in here.

I spent the most wonderful long weekend as a Mum with three small children in this fantastic B&B. The couple owning the B&B were so helpful and kind, knew just what we needed, cooked just fabulous breakfasts which you could live off for the rest of the day. We had access to the room all day with our own keys and to the gardens, one of which had a great swimming pool. My children did not want to go any where else. The rooms were so well laid out that families do not disturb other guests who may want a quiet weekend. For a single mum wanting a break I certainly got just that especially as across the road is a great pub/restaurant with a good range of food both bar and restaurant who welcomed my children and me.

If you are looking for something a little of the beaten track, but only a mile or so from beaches, towns, attractions this is the place to go and they also do some really nice special events too.

We are going to be returning again and again.

We booked a two night break at the Eiders, we arrived at 7.30pm & were immediately welcomed, shown our room & presented with fresh coffee & cake! From this point on Annette & David provided an absolutely first class service in every possible aspect of our stay. They attend to the smallest detail in a subtle & prefessional manner, while adding a personal touch. The rooms are very clean, modern & comfortable with excellent facities. The food is excellent & all requests catered for. Our stay was second to none, the location is peaceful & beautiful.....We give the Eiders the highest of recommendations & will be returning there ourselves next year

After the lengthy trip from Germany, it was so pleasing to be greeted by Annette and David, as if we had been friends for years.

We were made welcome in a really personal way, and if we thought this was just treatment for new arrivals, we were wrong. For the 4 days we were there, anything that we needed or wanted to know was promptly dealt with, without the feeling of feeling obliged to the couple, or any sense of over-bearing or interference.

The room was of a very high standard, the setting was perfect, the location ideal and the swimming pool a godsend!

I would absolutely recommend The Eiders to anyone travelling to North Norfolk. Lovely people and generally a real pleasure!

The Eiders Bed and Breakfast

My partner and I had a two night break at the Eiders in early May. Great accommodation, excellent breakfast and very friendly and helpful hosts. We are a young couple and found plenty of day trips out to suit us. Area around The Eiders has plenty to offer too. We enjoyed a very good and reasonably priced evening meal at the pub just down the road. Very enjoyable few days. Laura and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Eiders B & B for a short break or holiday.
