“Spectacular views, lovely accomodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 June 2009

We chose this B & B because it was close to one of the "Seven Wonders of Wales" - Pistyll Rhaeadr, a beautiful waterfall. We were within walking distance (3.5 miles). Our B & B was delightful in every way. The views from the window were spectacular. Our room was lovely and so comfortable. Our host was very gracious as well as a great cook - the breakfasts were delicious! We were easily able to see six of the other "Seven Wonders of Wales" from this location - had we more time, we could have seen Snowdonia as well. I would highly recommend this B&B!

“Simply the best place to stay in Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 May 2009

Eirianfa is a lovely house, excellent rooms and guest lounge, brilliant breakfast, wi-fi, all at very reasonable rates. Oh and Tony is the perfect host. The village is small and unspoilt - the best pub is The Plough where the food is very good and the locals welcoming. The 4 mile walk to the waterfall (and 4 miles back) is very pleasant. The walk to the top of the waterfall is recommended as is the cafe at the bottom, where the food is very good. Go to Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant and stay at Eirianfa.

“Simply the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 May 2009

I spent five lovely days in Eirianfa with my partner. It is one of the beautiful places we have ever been and we do love travelling throughout the world. This fabulous B & B is located in a small beautiful Welsh village with friendly people all over. Our bedroom was very roomy and comfortable with a king-size-bed, an ensuite bathroom, tea-making facilities and a wonderful view over the landscape. Tony is the best host you can imagine - all our wishes were fulfilled immediately. Though the local pub "The Plough" is a very nice place to eat and drink, the best dishes we get from Tony, who turned out to be a five-star cook - thanks for everything, Tony, we will be back soon, Dominic & Karen from Germany

“Possibly the best B&B in the UK”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 April 2009

We stayed at Eirianfa for my birthday holiday treat, and what a treat it was. Tony's hospitality is second to none, the breakfasts cannot be faulted, and his home-made hot-cross buns and poppyseed cake with tea in the afternoon was a real bonus. Will definitely be going back again. The village is beautiful, and an excellent base for walking. We also found the locals at the village pub to be very friendly and welcoming.
