We stayed at the Wensel B&B during the Parade of Homes this last spring. What a delightful place to stay; it's right in the center of everything and the Millers are local experts on the history and sights of Natchez--in fact, their book on homes in Natchez is a treasure. Just across the street is the tourist center where you can get tour information and tickets for a variety of activities. Right next door is another restored house that is now a book store.
There are three bedrooms in the main house and we were traveling with two other couples, so it worked out beautifully. Each bedroom was tastefully furnished and had its complete bath and plenty of closet space for storage. After sightseeing, we played cards in the dining room and they even furnished wine for the evening. The breakfasts were delightful. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.
They book early, so if you're planning a trip to Natchez, this is great place to stay!
