We've stayed here 3 times. The hotel has a pleasant vibe of the old art deco NM days. The refurbished rooms are very well done, beds are great, and staff is helpful. The rooms on the north side (odd numbers) are larger and the 01 rooms are the best deal. The south side rooms are almost too small, especially for a family. The valet parking is $16/day and worth it because the cars are then parked behind the hotel for easy access. Otherwise, you end up in a parking garage down the alley. The food is excellent from the Lucia restaurant. There are often events there (such as wedding receptions) that can make it noisy downstairs, but not really an issue once you are above the 4th floor.
