Suggest starting from Estes Park (finish your touring in RMNP first). Drive slowly and be preparedt o stop and take in the MANY scenic vistas. Several towns along the away offer shops and eateries. End your drive with gambling in Central Ctiy. I enjoyed the Peak to Peak better than Trail Ridge Road inside RMNP. Try to Georgetown Loop RR...that was pretty cool too.

On my first visit to Colorado we took the Peak to Peak Highway on our way to visit Rocky Mountain National Park.
We were both awestruck by the natural beauty around every bend in the road. See our photos!
