This place was fantastic!!! I have a family of seven (7) so we chose to stay in the Lodge. The Lodge was a huge fully equiped cabin with room for ten (10) plus. The place was beautiful and very comfortably furnished. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying there again this summer. Thanks for everything.

Our family stumbled upon Pine Haven in 2005, going through all the listings for Estes Park when planning our vacation. From our initial phone conversation with George to our actual stay, this was absolutely the best vacation we ever had in Estes, and we have stayed at six other hotels or resorts or cabins in previous years. We stayed in Cabin 9 with our 2 teenage sons, and they loved the quiet, lazy atmosphere, the water running beside the cabins, the loft where they slept. George and Joan were genuinely interested in us and our cabin was clean, spacious, and a delight to live in. We arrived on one of the hottest days we could remember for the mountains (after driving up from Colorado Springs where the AC had gone out in our hotel room, so we were pretty disgruntled upon arriving, but George had a huge cooling fan delivered to our cabin within a few hours--which blew me away that they were doing all they could to make us comfortable. (I was such a wimp--now that I look back on that trip!) We have just scheduled a return trip this July and are absolutely counting the days til then. George and Joan really care about their guests, and it shows in every detail of their resort. This vacation will be like coming home.

After searching the Estes area for years and staying at just about every Cabin and Motel we found the perfect place...
Pine Haven has everything we have been looking for...not only is it located in a great area...it is very clean and the host makes you feel so welcome. This was our second time staying at Pine Haven as the first we came with our daughter and her family and the whole family enjoyed it so much none of us wanted to leave,which is why my husband and I came again for our anniversary.
We will be staying here alot in the coming years...making alot of memories for us and our family....we are already looking forward to our next visit!

I am tempted to keep this place a secret, but it is just too good to keep to myself. Last year we booked our family reunion at Pine Haven. It was like a trip to a land time forgot. What an enchanting place! This small cozy resort has about a dozen rustic cabins each decorated with it's own unique theme. These cabins are like taking a trip back to your childhood. They were so warm and inviting. Then, the property abuts the Rocky Mountain National Park, so we could just take a few steps to the park from our cabin! This is the kind of resort experience you come to Colorado for. The owners are so friendly and accomodating. It is family owned and operated and they even joined us in throwing the frisbee and were always nearby and eager to engage in a conversation. Oh, and a river runs through it! You can sit outside the lodge and enjoy the briskly flowing stream. We thoroughly enjoyed this rustic retreat and we intend to have all of our reunions here, until like Brigadoon, it may disappear for 100 years.
