This my second time staying at the Holiday Inn in Estes Park. The hotel is located somewhat conveniently to the Estes Park shopping district, about a ten minute walk is required to most of the main shops on Elkhorn Ave.
The room we stayed in was relatively small and narrow (something that can be a problem if 3-5 people are staying in the room); however, the bathroom was very large with plenty of space.
The second night staying there, there were a few guests with dogs that kept barking, and this was very inconvenient. Luckily, the hotel took care of the situation the best they could, and the guests were gone the next day (either they left or were asked to leave).
The hotel has several other conveniences, such as a restaurant, a swimming pool, an exercise room, several arcade games, and a laundromat (where, if you approach the front desk to ask where it is, they give you free quarters and detergent and explain its location).
Otherwise, the hotel was a nice place to spend six days when visiting both Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The hotel does not offer free continental breakfast, but not many regular Holiday Inns do so. This place is a reasonable hotel to stay at when visiting the Estes Park area.
