We had a 5PM reservation prior to going to the theater. Very close to PPAC in Providence. On street or valet parking, nice atmosphere, waiter was great, like a cast member of the TV show Brotherhood. The bread was hot, fresh hefty Italian bread, reminiscent of Boston's North End. I ordered a dish called "veal and peas". OUTSTANDING! Veal, fresh peas, cooked in a tomato concoction served with meat tortellini, broccoli rabe and fresh basil. To die for. My husband, the carnivore, had a grilled sirloin. It was a bit rare for him and he would give it a 6 of ten for flavor but who orders grilled sirloin in an Italian restaurant on Federal Hill? I only gave 4 stars for the food because of my husband's issue with the steak.
Would drive the hour and a half tomorrow for my choice.
