Great Indian food at a reasonable price. We love their Sunday buffet. The manager/owner is often on site and is very responsive to customer comments. The decor is clean and contemporary to appeal to the college crowds at RISD and Brown, but it is still nice enough to go on a date. We have had Indian food that cost twice as much that wasn't half as good.

Good indian food. Portion size threw me off, left a little hungry.

My current favorite Indian restaurant in Providence

When my daughter suggested we go to this restaurant, I expected an average indian restaurant with OK food but nothing special - I was wrong, it was wonderful!

Because of Parent's weekend and it's reputation, Kabob and Curry was quite crowded, and we had to wait about 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly and courteous during the wait, but there is not much space to wait.

In the end it was well worth it! We had the vegetarian appetizer sampler, Chicken vindaloo, Lamb Kabobs, and a vegetarian pea/cheese dish. It was all excellent! Very reasonably priced, and although I didn't try any of the desserts or drinks, based on the items I had I would say this is one of the best two or three indian restauarants I have ever been to. Great service (including the chef who came by to make sure everything was Ok for our meal) and great food - really nice atmosphere. If I lived in providence I would be going here often!
