We booked with Four Points by Sheraton located near Tucson Airport 3 months in advance for a 4 night stay. They had reasonable rates for their Deluxe Balcony Rooms.
On arrival, we had an experience similar to that of a previous reviewer. We got our room allocation, a Deluxe Balcony room on the 2nd floor. The only trouble was, when we got to the room, it turns out someone was already there. Lucky they had the Privacy Latch on the door.
We went back to reception, the girl at the desk was deeply apologetic, but as it turns out there was not another Deluxe Balcony Room available. She put us in a standard room and advised they will move us tomorrow.
Tomorrow came, we went out for the day and came back and allocated a new room. However, this was not a Deluxe Balcony, it was a ground floor room suitable for a disabled person that would appear similar to the Deluxe Balcony Rooms. Other than this the room itself was ok, the bathroom was spacious but didn't have the features of Deluxe Balcony Rooms. The biggest issue we had was early in the morning around 5.00am, the heavy footed person upstairs stomped around for a good hour. Other guests had also left dirty pool towels in the hallway outside their room, providing laundry bins for pool towels would have addressed this issue.
Other than the accommodation issues, we really enjoyed the restaurant. We had our breakfasts here (big thanks to the omelette lady) and had a wonderful dinner here with friendly staff and a good menu selection.
I think this is a good hotel if you are only staying for one night and needed to stay near the airport (You could walk to the terminal). If you do stay, make sure you have breakfast included.
