This hotel had somewhat dated decor, and good sized rooms. Unfortunately, there was no discernable sound insulation, and we could clearly hear everything that was going on in the hallway and the two adjoining rooms. We were awakened several times by the romantic exploits of one of our neighbors. For the price charged, the room was terribly inadequate.

Beautiful suite, very clean and helpful staff. Very happy with almost everything. Only hitch was as someone on here mentioned; needed better sound insulation between rooms. If you had even average noise level next to you at night you will hear it plainly in bedroom. That aside, we loved the place and would stay again in a heartbeat...but take earplugs.
7-8 blocks to harbor but they have a shuttle.
Attached restaurant WAY overpriced compared to area and service was TERRIBLE the night we were there.
DON'T MISS SAN JUAN ISLAND!!! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS.
We used San Juan excursions for whale watching and were fairly disappointed. Apathetic naturalist that seemed bored and 4 hours later told us they knew when we started the Orcas were out to sea , so was never a possibility that day.

This hotel was pretty good but we have mixed reviews. It was nice to have a suite, the kitchenette is a plus. The continental breakfast was excellent, the attendant did a very nice job of refilling food items as needed. Get down to breakfast early if you don't want to take breakfast back to your room, there are only 4 small tables in the tiny dining area. Location is a bit far from town but there is a shuttle available. Unfortunately, our suite had a couple cleaning issues, there was popcorn under the sofa and when we unfolded the sofa bed for the kids, the sheet was littered with crumb. The bathroom is large but has very little counter space. The pool is down the street at another hotel where you present your room key to gain access. We did get a good night's sleep and the bed was very comfortable.

Beautiful Hotel, , we had a lounge ,kitchen and bedroom, this was such great value for the rate we paid.
Spotless and excellent service.
Would recomend this to any one.
Decor was superb.
