This was my first stay at a bed and breakfast and I will have very high expectations from here on out. Everything was magnificent from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Michael was an accommodating, generous, kind, friendly and knowledgeable host. The food was delicious, the service all around was excellent. We were not lacking for anything. Thanks to Michael for his attention to detail and graciousness. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and it may in fact be the only place I stay again on San Juan Island.

The B&B is spacious, clean, comfortable and beautiful. It has a nice view and lovely, wooded grounds with plenty of wildlife to enjoy. The breakfasts were scrumptiuos! Michael was extremely solicitous. I felt that he wanted to make our experience at Wildwood, and on the island as well, the best possible. He was a great resource for information on attractions, activites and restuarants. If you just wanted to hang out, there were plenty of drinks, snacks, books, magazines and DVDs. It was perfect.

We first stayed at the Wildwood in July 06 for our honeymoon.  After perusing other B&B websites, we chose the Wildwood because it seemed clean and had a much more up to date feel than other b&b's.  However, upon arrival, it was obvious that the Wildwood would exceed any expectation we could have ever imagined.  The house itself is absolutely beautiful and the decor is gorgeous - not to mention immaculate beyond belief.  John and Michael are the most warm and welcoming hosts ever and had wonderful suggestions for restaurants and activities.  The most impressive part of our stay was the breakfast!  The creations of John and Michael are delicious and fresh and extremely satisfying without being heavy.  The perfect way to start your day. We had such a perfect experience that we came back in July 2007 for our 1st anniversary and, once again, were blown away.  Knowing that it was our anniversary, we had chilled sparkling cider waiting in our room and in the dining room was the best tasting chocolate cake we had ever had made especially for us by John and Michael. This year, the staff also included their sisters, who are just as warm and friendly as John and Michael. Thanks to John and Michael and their family, we have wonderful memories of our honeymoon and anniversary. We plan to make our stays a yearly event and cannot recommend the Wildwood Manor enough!

Wildwood Manor is a dream for anyone who loves comfort, style and the best breakfasts you could possibly dream of.
The Inn has been beautifully decorated, lots of rich wood touches, yet light and welcoming with distant views of the bay and mountains.
The beds are heavenly, the linens wonderful, bathrooms are wonderfully appointed with luxurious towels and toiletries.
Freshly brewed coffee, fine teas as well as homemade cookies and fruit are available 24 hours.
Breakfast is amazing, you really need to visit to believe it! Michael posts a new breakfast menu everyday, chocked full of homemade creations. I could not wait until breakfast!

Located in a wooded area at anytime of day you can watch the deer stroll up to the inn for there feeding, Michael hand feeds many of them. There are walking trails throughout the grounds to explore, or if relaxing is on your schedule, wonderful deck areas to sit and relax with a good book.

The Innkeepers, Michael and John, create a wonderful welcoming atmosphere, we felt like family members.

We will most definitely return, and certainly recommend Wildwood Manor to all, who yearn for elegance, comfort and relaxation.
