Pat, our host and Spring Street Inn owner, is the warmest and most caring of Innkeepers. The gourmet breakfast of tasty crepes, omelets, homemade muffins, pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit and other goodies is worth the stay. The impeccable detail in the Spring Street Inn dining room, common areas, and our nicely appointed room was delightful. The historical location is within walking distance of our favorite places in Newport. We were just looking for a nice place to stay, but found a real gem!!!

As first time visitors to Newport we didn't know where to stay. Found a review on Spring Street on trip advisor and could not have been happier with our selection. Accommodations were quaint, clean, and conveniently located to EVERYTHING! Breakfast was served each morning starting at 8:30 and was very good as well. We'd never stayed in a B & B, preferring hotels or resorts, however we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Newport.

The hostess, Pat, sounded very nice on the phone, but we weren't prepared for the warmth of her welcome. It's a bright, spotless, beautiful, spacious B&B. We had the top floor 'suite' with great views of the marina area. It was warm, comfortable and the breakfasts were first class. It's very central for shops, restaurants, churches and all Pat's recommendations on which restaurants to visit (and which to avoid) were perfect. It's just a little gem !

I have stayed at the Spring Street Inn on two different occasions. The hospitality was just as outstanding as the 5 Star breakfasts. I would not consider staying anywhere else.
