“Terrible Experience. Scary!!”
We booked a stay at the Inn on Bellevue for this past Valentines weekend 2008.
Hoping for a relaxing weekend we got just the opposite, one thing after the other went wrong.
First the keys did not work, then the toilet broke, spilling soiled liquid all over the bathroom floor, the hot water did not work and worst of all, the heat did not work, in February! We were so cold that we could not even take our coats off. We were kept up all night by children running around upstairs and yelling (turned out there was a family was living in the inn )
When we tried to contact the front desk about our concerns no one was available. I went upstairs hoping to find a maid or someone to voice our concerns and I heard a screaming baby and profanities being yelled from the room where the family was "living".
We were so horrified and disgusted that we left and stayed at a nearby Inn.

The house keeper checked the hot water shortly after the couple left and it was working fine. She got nice hot steamy water!.
The wife called the front desk the night they checked in and asked for the heat to be turned up. The clerk advised there was a thermostat on the wall and that she could control it. We did not hear anymore on this for the rest of the weekend.
The toilet was repaired immediately. The pump broke.
I apologize for the disturbance.
