A pleasant hotel with all the amenities that you would expect plus staff who really made an effort to be friendly and helpful. (Except the person who steals from your luggage. We knew who it was but couldn't prove it.)
It's well situated for visiting the Bundala Lagoons National Park but it's a long way from Yala, whatever they claim.
The food is better & more reasonably priced at the Jade Restaurant across the road. It's close enough to walk into town but you take your life in your hands.
The beach was nothing special.
