we stayed here a good few years go - me a dn asingle girlfriend - is a great base for singles and groups as you are practically on the bar strip.. we had a room out the back and werent affected by any street noise - although i never heard anyone complain anyway.
There were a mixture of people staying there - groups, couples, families etc. Rooms were basic but clean - which is greece i find hard to come by - and staff were lovely. We had a fantastic holiday overall - rated this hotel neutral though because at the time i was of the age where i was there for the night life and not the hotel - i certainly would reccomend it though to all :)

We stayed at the Malia Mare for a week just as the season was ending - the 18-30's had all gone home (thankfully), and there were mainly couples and families left in this resort. The hotel was nice , ok so the rooms a little basic, but the breakfast was quite adequate, and the location is fab. Turn left and cross the main road and you are in the old town - beautifull tavernas and winding streets, which are easy to get lost in ! Turn right and you pass lots and lots of night clubs and bars. The beach is ok, although lots of touts bothering you. The beach has lots of bars running along it which is handy.

Overall a great holiday - but for a couple aged 35-40, definately couldnt want to be there during the peak season.
