This casual restaurant is owned and operated by the same family that has Hotel Stella Maris, the lovely hotel nearby where we stayed. Not many restaurants are open in Diamante in November, but no matter. The seafood here was wonderfully prepared. Need more spice? Scoop some of the pepperoncini in olive oil onto your dish. (This condiment is about to become a staple in my house.) They were open for lunch-only during our stay, although that may be different in the high season. I really don't know. But the offerings, including arancini and other regional delights, were what we had hoped for to eat like Calabresi. We also had breakfast here as part of the hotel price, and it was a combination of hams and cheeses. Very good.
