It was everything we expected and more. We stayed in the Suites upstairs for 3 days and loved every moment of it. The suites are spacious, confortable and have a great view. We used the kitchen extensively and found that the family that owned the place took great pride in giving excellent service.

The distance from Fira was only 10 minute walk but it is very helpful to rent a car. I would also recommend contacting the hotel to get the best rate. They can give a cheaper rate if you pay them in cash.

It was everything the tripadvisor reviews said it would be. We were so pleased!

We wanted a caldera view without the over-inflated price and Reverie seemed to fit the bill. However this place is across the road from the cliff and a new building now obscures the views. Therefore making the place a little over priced.

However the rooms were clean and traditionally styled, there's a pool and the best thing is the location - only a few minutes walk around the cliff edge to Fira, yet much quieter.

Try the nearby Galemi bar for sunset - so chilled and relaxing for a glass of Ouzo and plate of octopus after a day in the sun.

“A charming stay”

We had a pleasant stay at the Reverie last month. It was not our first choice but since not all hotels were opened end of March, we selected this one. We took the standard room which turned out to be too small for 2. We then asked to change room and were given a larger
room, at the same pool level. The superior room is spacious and very adequate. The location is not bad, you can take the long, beautiful walk along the cliff to Fira, which takes about 15 minutes or the short cut of about 10 minutes but without the view. The highlight of Santorini is of course the village of OIA, you can wait for the bus at the bus stop on the other side of the street a few steps from the hotel to take you there. Reverie fits in well with its surrounding, and has a certain rural/village charm about it. The place is managed by a friendly/charming family, who seems eager to please you. I also booked the transfer from/to airport (10 Euros round trip per person) through the hotel, was picked up and taken to the airport very early in the morning by the owner without delays. The booking process was done directly with the hotel and communication was easy with them. Overall, we find our experience with Reverie personal and pleasant.

My husband and I stayed at the Reverie apartments in September 2006. It was a lovely, clean one bedroom apartment with a small kitchenette and sitting area. We also had an outside terrace, with a small clothes line. The building has a street frontage which is excellent if you have hired a car etc. It also has access to the walkway (which our apartment fronted) overlooking the volcano. Very close proximity to a small supermarket where we were able to get our supplies. Restaurants also nearby. Approximately 10 mins walk to the centre, which is a lovely, scenic walk along the walkway mentioned above. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and spoke English. Nice breakfast room with pleasant atmosphere. Have recommended this establishment to friends. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2005. Our wedding was held in Santorini and we needed to find accommodation for our us and our guests and to fit everyone's budget. This was the cheapest hotel I found that was near the caldera. Well actually it was right on the caldera and the views from the top floors were amazing!

The hotel is situated in Firostefani and it turned out to be the best location we could have wished for. Close to everything yet far away from the noise of Fira.

There was a little pool for refreshing dip when the heat was on during the day. Our guests’ rooms were all on the ground floor, looked very pretty, nice decorations, although some didn’t have any view and were facing the pool area. All rooms were immaculately clean. We occupied the top suite with fantastic views covering Fira, Firostefani, Immerovigli and Oia on the western tip of the island. Our room was split floor with kitchenette, bathroom and living area downstairs and a large bedroom in the attic. There was a window with access to the roof top; there was enough space to lie down and sunbath in a total privacy!

The owner and his daughters are very friendly and helpful people. You have to pay extra €5 for breakfast which can be served on your private balcony or terrace. And what a breakfast; huge and tasty!

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and when we return to Santorini no doubt we will stay here again!
