“the ideal hotel”

It is the ideal hotel to discover the island of Rhodes. It is located in a green area just outside the old city, a ten minutes walk to the bus station and the Mandraki harbour. The old walled city can be entered through the northwestern gate of grandmaster Emery d'Amboise. When you want to visit the old city and the villages on the island (KTEL has frequent bus services to the villages on the east coast) and you are not particularly looking for a beach hotel, there is no better hotel than the Rodos Park hotel. There is a large pool, unfortunately it was not heated - end of April, nobody had a swim.
We received a warm welcome on our arrival at 10 pm. We had a nice, large suite. Service is friendly. Breakfast offers a good choice of pastries, cheese and fruits. Eggs are served according to one's choice.
I strongly recommend the Melathron restaurant for a gastronomic dinner, better than the hotel restaurant. It is located in a side street of the Socrates street, between number 39 and 41.
A good internet place with modern equipment for a few euros per hour is in the G. Griva street, close to a small square.

“hotel that delivers”

This hotel delivers all it promises and invariably more. We stayed for one week in a double room. It was well located at the front of the building with its own balcony. The room was well appointed and very clean. It is only a passing comment but the decoration and upholstery is a little confused. However, this did not detract from its pleasantness and a real bonus was that the air conditioning functioned very well. We enjoyed the attention to detail such as having the beds turned down and chocolates each night, sometimes accompanied by a sweet liqueur.

The hotel is on busy road at peak times but there was no road noise in the room. The swimming pool is to the front of the hotel but we did not find the traffic disturbing. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is exceptionally good. We did not dine at the hotel but observed that the outside dining appeared charming. The hotel is brilliantly located within easy walking distance (4 minutes) of an entrance to the old town.
We have only one criticism. For a modern truly 5 star hotel it is very surprising that there is no internet Wi-Fi connection in the rooms. This made some business communication difficult. However, we would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.

We returned to Rodos Park after 4 years and found it every bit as good as before. Why go back? Nothing compares with Rodos Park hotel and Rhodes Town. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Maid service twice a day with clean linen every day and towels changed twice a day.
The pool is ample size, plenty of sunbeds (most days) in a pleasant garden with a bar and food service.
Not really a place for children, but fine for couples of all ages and business.
We'll be back, and not wait 4 years this time.

From the minute you walk in, you are treated like a long lost friend by all the staff who cannot do enough to make sure you have a good stay.

The whole hotel is appointed to a high standard, even down to the oudoor pool which is metriculously cleaned every morning.

Rooms are spacious and to a high standard of decor. Having a jacuzi in the bathroom is an added bonus after a day exploring Rodos old town.

With house keeping twice a day ( second time to turndown the bed and replenish used towels), you never knew what little treat awaited you by your bed ( where did they get that turkish delight ?)

We stayed over easter and arrived back on big saturday to find easter eggs in a presentation basket waiting for us, another nice touch, unfortunately an early flight prevented us from attending the hotels festivities to which we received a personalised invitation

One note that is nothing to do with the hotel itself. If dining out, try the house medium red wine at approx Euro 6-8 per half litre. This is available in most restaurants and cafe's and very quaffable. Pity you cannot buy bottles to take home.

Hotel ( and wine) 100% recommended

“Elegant and discrete city hotel”

Rodos Park Suites is a small-scale, elegant hotel situated in one of the best neighborhoods of the city of Rhodes opposite the city's parks, very close to the medieval town and close to the heart of the shopping area. We stayed there in winter, so the location was ideal for the season, but it is also recommended for summer as a city hotel, though. The hotel has 30 suites and 30 standard rooms, but the latter are not very comfortable. I would recommend use of standard rooms in connection with suites (they are all connecting with suites).
Advantages: Good location for city hotel. The suites' advantage is that the bedroom can be fully separated from the sitting area and the bathroom is accessible from both rooms. Also good mattresses ("Hypnos"), comfortable beds, nice furniture in rooms and very elegant furniture and equipment in the lounges and restaurant, very good and kind staff and very quiet and discrete environment. Good fitness facility, but must be paid extra even only for the use of gym. Shortcomings: Very little open ground around the building, no parking or garage and regarding the breakfast, it could be a little better, esp. more variety of bread is needed, as well as more and better croissants (their quality is very low and they are not warm).
One more shortcoming: The hotel's only lounge (next to the lobby), though very cosy and attractive, was not heated most of the time we were there and its fireplace did not work -- so practically it was unusable. That was big disappointment, especially for the Christmas season, as we often wished to stay inside with our children and friends. The heating was also not always sufficient in the restaurant and the lobby.
There is a medium-size open-air pool, which we did not use, as it was winter. But there is lack of space around the pool, there is no comparison with a resort's pool.
