Add another satisfied customer to this site, we really enjoyed our stay at The Spot. As everyone has mentioned, the rooms are basic and bathrooms are typically small, but everything that you need. We loved the old town and Lee even told us our first night about a friend of his playing in a band at one of the local bars. We visited all the restaurants he recommended and were not disappointed. As everyone else has said, the hosts and the location are second to none. We would highly recommend to anyone going to Rhodes. We took day trips to most of the other beach areas on the bus with ease and still got to return every night to the nightlife of the Old Town, we wouldn't have done it any other way.

The website and guidebooks do not give this hotel justice.

Clean, cool (air conditioning) and a very welcoming host, the mini bar is excellent, Lee made sure it was well stocked every day at a very reasonable price.

If you need a knight in shining armour, Lee's your man, excellent and brave in all situations!

Pizanias Kyriakos –Sofokieus 24 is the best seafood in town, ask for the clams, however everything is excellent.

If you go to Rhodes, don't say in package holiday hell, stay here, you will have the best holiday you've had in ages.

I just had 4 perfectly wonderful nights at the Spot Hotel. It was the best of times. Lee is a kind, thoughtful, helpful host in every way and always makes my stay comfortable and fun. I was here also in Oct. 2005 and returned again because of the hospitality and warmth. The rooms are spotless and delightful, the area of the hotel very sweet and picturesque. The hotel is easy to find and is just perfect to use as a base to explore the city and island. Lee can get you set up with car, scooter, or whatever to make your vacation here the best possible. The new computer room is amazing--fast connection, top of the line equipment--and if you are lucky, Lee may even be in the mood to serenade you with some excellent guitar playing. I joined Tripadvisor to write this review because I wanted to share my experience. If anyone is coming to Rhodes, The Spot is The Place!

The Spot offers excellent value accommodation in beautiful atmospheric Rhodes Old Town. Our clean, traditional style room also had air conditioning and an extremely cheap mini bar/fridge which was greatly appreciated considering the fantastic temperatures! The owner Lee is a character, good fun with excellent local knowledge. He and his family could not have been more welcoming. All in all, this ‘spot’ contributed to an excellent holiday and had my friend and I not discovered it, we may have ended up in package holiday hell down in the New Town. So if you want to feel like you are staying in Greece I thoroughly recommend it. I would also recommend Pizanias Kyriakos –Sofokieus 24 – Old Town the best fish restaurant in Rhodes, ask for the clams !!.
