We have just returned from a week at the Spot. The hotel is in a prime location ust off the Plaza. It is perfect for travellers who want to want to enjoy Rhodes and come back to a clean room and good service. For those who want all the mod cons Greece is not a place for you.

Lee was fantastic. He picked us up from the airport and arranged a return cab to take us back at 3am. He also directed us to the best restaurants and made sure we enjoyed our stay.

Hi, I chose Spot Hotel based on comments on TripAdvisor and it was the best choice. I stayed at Spot for a week and it was one of the best holidays so far. The hosts, Lee & Evdochia were very friendly. The room looked nice and was very clean, the bathroom also, breakfast basic and coffee very good and I enjoyed having breakfast in the garden every morning. Excellent location, very quiet, although very central in the Old Town. Only few steps from all attractions: The Palace of the Great Master, museums, shops, bars and tavernas. Very close to the harbor, very suitable if you wanna go in some cruises. The beach (Elli beach) is not quite close but I enjoy walking, especially on holidays and part of the walk to the beach is through the Old Town and it's lovely. I plan to go again to Rhodes next summer and I will definitely stay at the Spot.

My husband, his parents and I just got back from another wonderful 5 week trip to Greece, of which 5 nights were in Rhodes, where we stayed at The Spot Hotel.
The following is our collective thoughts of our experience...

The rooms are small but very clean. The bathrooms are beyond miniscule. They seem like small closets converted to bathrooms, but considering the age of the area, this is quite understandable and almost expected.

Our experiences with Lee were less than satisfactory . Here are some of the reasons...
During the reservation process, I had made arrangements with the Spot for airport pickup. Upon our timely arrival at Rhodes airport, I was told that "Due to the late hour, pickup at the airport was unavailable". This was the case also for airport dropoff.

After viewing our room, when asked where the TV was, Lee, "Mr. Internet" said, "I don't watch TV and if you wanted to watch TV, you should have stayed at home." For us as travelers, it is a necessity to watch news and weather in our rooms. We should not have to pay him for Internet access for the latest news and weather.

When a friend called the hotel to get directions and to contact us (no phones in rooms), Mr. Internet was extremely rude and unaccomodating.

We will go to Greece (and Rhodes) again, and although the location is excellent , but we will never stay at the Spot.

Extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Very satisfied with everything at the hotel. Quiet stay for four nights and felt like part of the family . Rooms are clean and large enough. Private bath in room is small , but usable. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Very convenient location ; about two blocks away from bustling "shops" , commercial areas .
