My wife and I just returned from a one weeks stay in Costa Rica. Much of that time was spent at La Cusinga. We have travelled all over the world and we both agree that the view from the lookout deck is one of the most spectacular we have ever experienced. We spent hours rocking in our chairs looking for Toucans, La Cusingas and the like. The staff could not have been more helpful (except for luggage hauling to and from the room). Nuilyn is one of the property's best assets. Her infectious smile and absolute drive to make sure you are well taken care of was truly appreciated. The nature walks through the jungle with Suzanna (just ask for her) were unforgettable. Our only two criticisms of our stay was no bar service (and we understand why) and not a very good coordination of meal variety. For example, it would not be unusual to be served chicken, rice and beans for lunch and dinner served different ways. Aside from those minor issues and a few beatle nuisances, La Cusinga is a magical place not to be missed on a Costa Rica vacation.
