big als new restaurant at the terrazas de la paz complex,just down from the sand club reception has the most stunning views of the atlantic ocean i have ever seen.moving to this new location after being 7 years on the top square at san blas seems to be one of the best moves(kept secret) i have ever encountered as a business person.he seems to have retained his food and drinks prices not forgetting his charm and personality.quality food(lots of it) at affordable prices.this is a must visit for all visitors.ps.booking would be very sensible

very quite complex , except for the planes every 30min,the smell at night when there is no breeze and our villa was robbed while we were out but the residents are very nice and the security in reception were 10/10.
hire a car for god sake as you will spend a fortune on buses /taxis, there is no beach but you do have 3 great pools in adelfas2.
visit san blas shopping centre a must and try the steak house and indian a must.
enjoy your holiday dont forget to pack ear plugs, i for one will not go back but other people we talked to had a great time there

Stayed at the Palms in a privately owned bungalow in October 2007.
Very comfortable, clean and tidy. Complex is very 'tired', but benefits from four swimming pools and a bar with nightly entertainment (kareoke/pub quiz/barbecue night). Although under the flight path, we did not find the airplane noise a nuisance.( We knew about this before booking so it was no surprise) Had a bit of fun, guessing which airline would be next to land.
As a wheelchair user we found parts of the area difficult, but found a quick route to San Blas, which avoided most of the steep slopes.
The Palms is suitable for those looking for a bit of peace (apart from planes) from the usual 'stag and hen' destinations. It was like a breath of fresh air, not having our sleep disturbed by 'night owls' turning out from pubs and clubs.
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and the warmth both day and night were a treat to my joints. I hardly took and pain releif while away. The warmth, plus having the pools to ourselves most days was a definate plus and we are going back in 2008 and beyond.

WOW what can i say, apart from that me and my mate had to be dragged to the airport!!

Arriving

This was all sorted great we flew with easy jet and they sorted us out a minibus to get to the place which worked well! Plus we had a hot mini bus driver! LOL. They were very welcoming at sunnningdale village! We even got roses! How cute! Jennay the worker there then carried our bags to the room.



The Room

The room was what we expected a double bed and some pull out sofa beds. I can honestly say that me and my mate prefered the pull out beds and never once used the big double bed, not saying its uncomfortable, i think it was just easier for us! The kitchen was standard but i wasnt expecting a luxuary kitchen! The bathroom was clean, the whole room was clean, until we unpacked! The maids came round everyday and kept the inside and outside of the room tidy! Just beware of the cats coming on your balcony Oh God i hate cats they were pretty scary! Dont stroke them! They attack too!!



The Stay

It was sooo hot and this was mid november! we could hardly sit by the pool so we sunbathed mainly on the balcony, they provide you with sunloungers on the balcony. Sorry people we never made it to the beach so i wont know what its like! i hear its the usual white sanded beach though! The bar workers where amazing i love them to pieces, look out for miguel hes such a sweety! The pool was clean and the general site was clean. The only down part was they were building, but hey that didnt bother me too much. The site is big with loads of bars and restuarants to eat at. I would recommend eating at the square they have entertainment every night! One bloke even made me get up and dance in front of everyone! We wernt all Inclusive but there was a convient store right by our place which was cheap and had passtashio nuts so that pleased me! Also the bottles of malibu you buy there Oh God i swear they have a extra ingredient in because me and my friend had a bottle then had a weird funny hour! was fun though!



Overall

Go there venture to the volcanos and playa las americas! Dont worry bout the lookie lookie men they aint as bad as people say they are!



Beware

Security guards on the site do not like loud noise after 2am i got in trouble many times! Even for snoring on the balcony ha!



Ive been there 3 times and im going back next year!



Its worth it!
