Had a great time at Calibishie Lodges we ate here as in June/July there was nowhere else to eat as the village restaurants where all closed as this is classed as out of season but the food was very good. The owners were excellent with advise on where to go and what to see and organising trips even when one of our party broke her leg they were very helpful arranging for them to have meals in their room and showed great concern nothing was too much trouble. We had an upstairs lodge which was very nice with good views.

My wife and I just returned from our second trip this year to Calibishie. We love the Lodges and Trashman is right when he says that you can eat cheaper elsewhere in Calibishie, one thing to keep in mind is that you cannot eat better! The restaurant cooks food that I would rate from good to excellent depending on the dish but the food is always fresh, always well presented and always enough. There is also a nice bar in the restaurant , check out the Pirate Rum Punch. The rooms are comfortable and well located as well as reasonably priced. There is a small swimming pool on site which is always clean and there's a small yet lush tropical garden inhabited by humming birds. But what really makes the Calibishie Lodges unique is that the hosts Chris and Linda are excellent. They always have a smile and nothing is too much trouble for them. They have an excellent knowledge of the island and seem to know everyone in Calibishie! They will be happy to help you plan your days and trips and arrange car rentals and guides for you and they'll do it sincerely. We recommend the Lodges to all our friends.

Reading some of the almost evangelical reviews of this place before we went, we were expecting something truly incredible. We loved Calibishie as a village, and I would thoroughly recommend going out there to eat, but Calibishie Lodges itself was not all that. The apartment was OK, but fairly basic. The food was OK, but you can get cheaper and better in the village, and the staff were OK. I would probably stay somewhere else in the area next time.

A wonderful place at a great price. Chris and Linda were friendly as can be, not to mention helpful. When our luggage was lost fro five days by the airline, they did everything they could to help us out. A great view and location. Close to the airport, waterfalls, and great little villages. Not only would I recomend it, but plan to go back.
