We were at the hotel during the first week of October and had a good time. The rooms are modern and clean, I think they had a refurb in the last few years. The staff are friendly and helpful and the meals more than adequate considering the number of people that have to be catered for and the variety of tastes.

There were a number of Spanish people staying there which I think is always a good sign if it is OK with the "locals". No probs with sun loungers etc. and the entertainment staff did their best to make it fun. I think you get out what you put in so you have to try and enjoy the performances, they are not London theatre standard but then you wouldn't expect them to be.

Overall a good friendly hotel that is worth its three stars. I would suggest a visit to Santa Eulalia, it is much nicer than Ibiza town.
I think the hotel is changing ownership so lets hope they keep the same standards.

We have been going to this Hotel since 1995.We went last year and it was horrendous to say the least, but we thought we would try it again as the place holds so many fantastic holiday memories for us and for our family. Although the children have now grown up and don't accompany us now we still felt we should go back as we believed the nightmare of last year had to be a one off.

We met our very dear friends from Aldershot who we had met a this Hotel in 2002, and thank goodness they were there as the Hotel was really quiet due to them closing on Monday 14th October for the season ,and there were no day time activities whatsoever. The evening entertainment was the same as last year even to the same act being on on the same weeknight as they were last year, all were old hat and dreadful as well! Bingo at the speed of light in 4 different languages! If nothing else it gave comedy value!

Thank God for the one constant that was welcome, the same staff on the bars and on Reception as in previous years, who never forget us and how could we ever forget them? Antonio, Xavis, Jenny,Kerry,The cook with the incredible shrinking hair!!, and Emillio.

Now , lets get onto the food!! Oh my God. You could really tell it was the end of the season and they were clearing out the freezers! It was absolutely attrocious to the point where we ate out most nights even though we were all inclusive.
We had prawn crackers everynight but nothing else remotely Chinese! We had to guess wether the golden hoops in the tray were onion rings or squid. I think the labels had fallen off the bags in the freezer so it was a suprise to the chefs as well when it was cooked! The food you could guess at was always cold. If anyone form the Hotel is reading this please could you remember that all Brits do not like to live on Chips alone. The lunchtime menu was quite good but chips again! jacket spuds or pata would be lovely.

The rooms as ever were lovely and clean. No complaints there.Even the maids were the same as in previous years.

We have found out this week that the Hotel and it's sister Hotel the Atlantic has been sold to the same company that has the Paraiso Beach Hotel ( The pink one up the Hippy Market). So we might give it a go just to see if there is any improvement although no-one in the Hotel was able to tell me which tour operator I would need to use.

If you go out to eat we recoment the Bulls Head and visit Chris and Bev in Moe's bar accross the road for a pint. The lunchtime snacks in there are great as well. Real English Bread!

Good news for the Coral old hands,
We are now under the Paraiso hotel group, not Sirenis anymore.
Why the good news? Good news because the new owners are Es Canar locals who have also taken over managment for the nearby Atlantic turning us into basically a familiy run business that has a priority to cater to return guests through a focus on a quality experience that will make you come back. Many an establishment views the summer season as a way to "milk" guests who will never come back anyways. Not Paraiso Hotels.
The full bufette through breakfast, lunch and dinner is back. The asortment and quality of fresh dishes provided is huge and will surely not disapoint anyone.
The animation team has been increased from two to six team members.
The staff of the Hotel is the same, no changes there and as always the pillar of expected your quality experience.
We have always been one of the top resorts in the Es Canar area. Now even more so.

Please give us a shot for you will not be disapointed in any area. :-)

“Absolutely Fantastic - Can Recommend!”

I must admit I booked at the Coral Playa based mostly on reviews from this site, and I wasn't dissapointed!

Booked over the net, so was a bit wary about what the hotel would be like when we got there, but it really was fantastic.

Extremely clean, inside and out, and the rooms were spacious and really nice, with everything you needed. Maids were great, very friendly and left everything where you put it, whilst still tidying. Normally, I`ve found that if you were in the room when the maids came and you asked them to come back, that was it and your room didn't cleaned that day. However, they came back and no matter how late you left the room it was always cleaned.

All the staff were friendly and helpfull, and spoke good english (well they actually spoke a number of different languages well!). Had a few minor problems with the room, hardly worth bothering about, but I let them know and they were fixed the same day. Much better than other hotels where i`ve ended up having to fix things myself or it didn't get done! What ever you wanted the staff would help with, and were always pleasant and cheery.

In the past, on all inclusives, the food was edible but nothing special. However, at the Coral Playa the food was really good, and ended up stuffing myself! Everything was fresh, and a good variety on the menu, tried a lot of new things I wouldn't of normally eaten, and really enjoyed them. Actually looked forward to meal times, and i`m not someone who usually enjoys their food.

Pool was really nice, very clean! Beach was literally next to the hotel but it was so nice by the pool we stayed there all week. Lots of activities provided if your into that, and the entertainment in the evening was good.

Nice views from the hotel, and in a great location, next to the beach and close to the town and a couple of small supermarkets a couple of hundred yards away if you wanted anything.

As I said, was a bit worried about booking the hotel blind, but was so impressed that I want to go back next year. Must admit its the first holiday where I didn't want to go home. Usually I get bored after a week, but really didn't want to leave the Coral Playa!

Honestly can say that there was nothing I could find fault with (and thats rare!)

Don't normally write reviews, but they gave us a fantastic holiday, at a great price, and I feel that its only fair that I should give them the review they deserve.

We went to Ibiza on 15th September for 2 weeks. This is our 4th time to this hotel and we are planning to go back next year.

My boyfriend John done scubber diving in the sea after taking part in the free lesson at the pool! I am going to try it next year I hope!

You can upgrade to all inclusive when you get there. Book half board in travel agent and then upgrade when you are there, it works out much cheaper!

Met a ton of new people there and are coming back next year with most of them.

All staff are friendly and the maids do a great job of the rooms! The waiters are nice and friendly and speak English too.

The Hippy Market is great especially for he girls!!!! Great bargains there! Don't take the first price they give you though!! Get them down low!

Entertainment finished a bit early though but Joel and Sandra were there to make it fun! They were both great!

This hotel is great! Can't wait until next year.

Dan & John x

“Brilliant”

Just returned from 10 days at the Coral Playa, what can I say, everything was really good from the reception staff, to the chambermaids, everyone was polite and happy to help. We had
an adapted room as my husband is wheelchair bound, the room was massive, spotlessley clean, only down side, it was on the 5th floor which we thought strange but we had no problems getting the lift. The restuarant although very busy had plenty of variety. Es Cana isn't the most wheelchair friendly place but after a few days we did find short cuts to every where. I would happly recommend the Coral Playa, nice mix of all ages, entertainment day & night, met some lovely people and had a brilliant time
