As other reviews will say this is primarily a German Hotel (one of the reasons we booked). Lovely Clean hotel with nice friendly staff. The food was really good and lots of choice - especially with the children (3 years old).
Entertainment was not that good, but we entertained ourselves - and had a laugh at the entertainment staff! Kids enjoyed the disco etc - not anything worth staying in the hotel for.
All inclusive option is a must otherwise drinks there can work out expensive.
Great location and nice walk into Santa Eulalia which also has lots of restaurants.
Would go back again, mainly due to location and food.

wh therat can i say, my husband myself and our son stayed for 1 week self catering, loved the hotel, staff very helpful and friendly, rooms big,cleaned 5 days out of 7, plenty towels ,loo rolls etc. no toasters or kettles in apartments-wee b it annoying, you can hire them at reception for 30 euros which you get back anytime that you return them. we just boiled water in a pan ,it did the job. there were the usual games going on in and around the pool at certain times of the day sports staff very enthusiastic and many adults and kids found themselves joining in. the weather was fab and the pool area is lovely to look at,very clean,well maintained. we found a mix of nationalities when we went,they certainly were not mainly german as others have indicated, found it quite quiet after 12 midnight as entertainment stops then. there is a great supermarket across the road which is reasonable with a good selection of foods and snacks. one thing i did like about the hotel was theren nwere no big signs saying "do not do this do not do that around the hotel" fab hotel,enjoy your holiday all

My husband and I have just returned from a week long self-catering break to the Tropic Garden Hotel and loved it!

The hotel is situated a short 5-10 min walk from the marina and beach.

On arrival it took only a few minutes to check in and considering we arrived at 11.00am in the morning we were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready. The staff very all very helpful and courteous. The room was birght and airy with plenty self catering facilities - all rooms have a balcony and with adequate seating.

The pool is big enough and even when we went to pool in the afternoon we could always get sun loungers.

I would advise that you do not buy anything from the bar at the pool as it is very pricey - instead go to the supermarket located right across from the front entrance of the hotel as it stocks everything. (Although it doesnt sell cigarettes for any smokers - you will need to walk into town and go to one of the licensed tobacconists).

There are plenty restaurants around the marina and also on Restaurant Street (located beside Town Hall) - all were very good and reasonably priced.

Take some of the boat trips as its a wonderful way to see the East coast of Ibiza. We would recommend Ibiza Town (operates everyday) adn the Hippy Market in Es Canar. And if you really want to you can take a 35 minute bus trip to San Antonio (although the buses only run during the day) for 4.10 euro (single trip).

Overall, very enjoyable to stay at both Tropic Garden and Santa Eularia.

I have just returned from this hotel, having had a seven night stay on a self catering basis. My party consisted of two adults and two children. We were very impressed with the hotel from the moment we checked in. The reception staff were extremely helpful, and welcoming. Our room overlooked the pool, which was attractive and was a decent size, and more than met our needs. The only thing that was lacking was a kettle. So take a travel one with you. The nearest supermarket was directly across the road from the hotel, and on the whole wasn't badly priced for essential items. In the reception area of the hotel there were two boards, displaying the various activities taking place for the kids club, and the adult entertainment. We did book the children into the kids club on a few occasions and found the staff to be very courteous and took a great interest in them. We definately considered the children safe there. There were activities for all, especially in the evening, and we liked the fact that the music was turned right down at 11.00pm each night, then had finished completely by midnight. There is however a bias towards German guests, and the hotel bar was a little pricey. When going out for the day, the resort centre was a good 15 minute walk away, but we returned each evening to find that the room had been cleaned and fresh towels left when requested. All things considered, this is a very clean and modern hotel, with excellent facilities, and amenities fairly close by. It also does a very good job at being a family hotel.
