My boyfriend and I booked this as a last minute all inclusive deal and we were not disappointed! I was 17 and my boyfriend was 19 when we went and we really enjoyed ourselves! The guests at the hotel were all very friendly and easy to get along with.
Our room was great. I liked the fact that we were not in a 'tower block', it was far nicer! The rooms are in chalet blocks and there are even apartments available. Our room was a good size with a spacious wardrobe and drawers. The only problem we had was that the water did not go through the shower plughole fast enough, so the water often rose as we were showering. But eventually it went down!
The entertainment was great fun! Every evening the entertainment began with a children's disco - the songs were really catchy and my boyfriend and I often found ourselves singing along!!! Then there would be more entertainment which was aimed at everyone. A particular favourite of mine was Grease, which was put on by the entertainers! There are always opportunities for the guests to get involved which was great! Also, Bingo was great fun - with real cash prizes too!
During the day the entertainers put on many activities for children and adults. We especially enjoyed water polo, darts and boules! The adults get involved just as much as the children and it's a great way to pass time!
The food was really good! We were very impressed and were never left hungry! There was always a good selection available, including vegetarian alternatives and things for the children to enjoy.
The hotel is in a fairly isolated position. It wouldn't suit those who are going to Ibiza for the clubbing. However, if you just want an enjoyable and relaxing get-a-way then it is perfect. The beach is about a ten minute walk away, this includes many steps down to the beach!! On one day there were some jellyfish at the beach, but the next day there were none.
We enjoyed a walk from the hotel, in Santa Eularia del Rio, to Cala Llonga, which was really nice. It took about an hour, if not longer, but there were lots of wonderful views.
There are several buses a day to and from the hotel which go to the main town. From here you can get buses to pretty much everywhere. The buses are very reasonable. We took busses to Eivissa and Playa d'en Bossa (for the water park). If you miss a bus back to the hotel then the taxis are not too bad in value.
A tourist train departs from directly outside the hotel. This is well worth going on, I definately recommend it. We had a very enjoyable journey and saw many sights that we wouldn't have otherwise seen.
If you are planning on going out for the day then remember to ask the staff on reception for a "pack-up meal" the day before, at no extra cost (all inc.). These were great and included bread, sandwich filling, fruit, chocolate and a drink.
