The conversion includes rooms for the proprietor and his family, so there is always somebody on site.

The accomodation is self catering, with a free Saturday buffet and optional Thursday evening meal. Certainly the time to taste the home brewed wine, olive oil and limoncello!! The food was excellent as well!!

Apartments were of excellent standard, with fans but no airconditioning, superb grounds under olive trees and a swimming pool, all within easy driving distance of Florence, Pisa and Sienna. Two stores in local village within walking distance provided sufficient basics, but larger supermarket in Montespertoli requires a car trip if you require a bigger choice.

Gabriel was always happy to provided town maps and showed the best places to park, something usually very difficult in unknown towns. If you want to go into any of the famous buildings, strongly recommend you book in advance, because queues of the unbooked in the heat of August were VERY long.

Practically all his business now is return guests or recommendations, a sure sign that Gabriel is doing the right thing.

All I can say is Highly Recommended

Le Torri in a word is - Fantastic!
Gabriele, the owner, and his family should be very proud of their apartments and service they provide.
From the the welcome buffet on saturday evening, the traditional Tuscan meal midweek, the swimming pool, well cared for grounds, to the spotlessly clean apartment - it is all of the very highest standard.
There are plenty of deck chairs and sunbeds by or near the swimming pool (more than enough for everybody).
Superb location for visits to Florence (about 30 minutes by car), Siena, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano etc.

I would, without hesitation, recommend this place to anyone who is willing to rent a car in Tuscany. We stayed in one of their two bedroom apartments, which featured a large master, a second room with two twins, two bathrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen was well equipped as well. The property itself is fabulous, with a pool that provided a welcome respite after hot sightseeing days.

However, the most fabulous part of the property was the family who runs it. They provided a wonderful welcome buffet and then offer a Thursday night dinner that is home made by the owner's mother and is easily the best meal we had during our trip, which is saying a lot.

The location can't be beat either, you're thirty minutes from Florence and less than an hour from almost anywhere else. We'll be back again, hopefully soon.

Le Torri was a jewel in Tuscany. It was well located for the touring we did - a number of towns between Florence and Sienna and Grieve in Chianti. If time is short this could also be a base to see Florence from. The apartment was very nice. The welcome dinner on Saturday (complimentary) and the authentic Tuscan meal on Thursday (reasonable price) were wonderful. Would stay there again anytime. Good as a base for touring or even just a place to relax.

“Beautiful Villa Le Torri”

Le Torri

25 Jun 2007

We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Italy and Tuscany with fourteen of our family. Tuscany and Villa Le Torri was incredibly beautiful. We loved every minute from when we entered the gate till we left after one week. Gabriele helped us plan a trip to the Parri Winery which was one of our highlights in Tuscany as was the cooking school at Osteria La Gramola. Mama cooked the food at Le Torri and it was the very best of the entire trip. At the end of our stay each family received a gift. I cannot wait to go back. All I can say is thank you and WOW!
