My wife and i stayed here for 3 nights in mid April 2012. Were greeted with friendly staff and there was no check in hassles, they spoke english which is very much appreciated. We originally booked a small cabin, and after asking, got upgraded to a bigger cabin with toilet, shower and kitchen. However all these cabins are lacking curtains so lights penetrate through the windows at night. (these are cabins 1,2,3,and 4) Would recommend these cabins as the smaller ones just have a door, window and double bed as well as when it rains you have to tramp through mud. There is many tents to choose from if you are not soft, like us. Prices are good here. The food was good, we ate there all 3 nights, they have a mini store type thing if you need certain supplies.
The location is good and convenient as there is a bus stop right across the road and #19 takes you into Venice in about 10 minutes, hop off at the last stop. TIP: Don't try catch the bus at weekday morning rush hours as there will be no room for you to hop on, leave early 7ish or leave 9ish because in between those times the buses are packed. The return bus #5 drops you back off just outside the camp ground. They sell tickets at reception, very handy. Wi-fi is cheap and worked in our cabin.
All in all the place is clean, friendly and reasonably priced with a good location. We would recommend staying here if you want to see Venice for a few days on a budget.
