A very new complex that is still part way through completion. I think once every thing is finished the resort will be outstanding!
The resort is split into 4 sections; a 4 star family hotel, 4 star adult hotel (Cala Del Sol), Private Villas and a 5 star hotel (yet to be completed).
Down Sides (not that these were bad at all)
- Hotel yet to be fully completed. A few of the facilities weren't up and running properly.
- We were the only English people at the hotel. The complex is mainly aimed at the German market and you feel a bit of an outsider (although I expect this will change once an English tour operator starts going there).
- Quite isolated. But I would highly recommend renting a car. This will allow you to travel around the island & get more out of your stay!
Up-Sides
- Lovely food of great quality, so much choice.
- Modern, clean and comfortable rooms.
- Wonderful pools for both adults and children.
- Very relaxing
- Good bars and night club.
- Sports facilities - gym, golf, tennis, water sports
The island itself is predominantly vocanic in the north and mid sections. If you travel to the south there are some beautiful beaches - Costa Calma and Jardin offer white sandy beaches. I would recommend driving down here on a few occasions.
We also went to the cinema complex (which show films in English - but ask for timings). This is situated near the airport.
I also enjoyed the new shopping centre which is situated just passed the airport, some wonderful Spanish shops with good prices!
Overall, a very enjoyable holiday all round!.
