We loved the Casa Glebinias. Our hosts were wonderful. We got in late on a holiday with nothing open in town and we missed lunch due to short connections in BA. Our hosts shared their Sunday dinner and a bottle of wine with us. Chacras de Coria is a ways out of Mendoza so you will need cabs to get to the center and walking to the Chacres de Coria square is a little dicey after dark due to traffic and few sidewalks so if that is an issue you may want to be aware. The hosts will call cabs, make restaurant recommendations and call for reservations so it was not an inconvienience. As we were there in the off season some of the places we wanted to go were closed - so if we come back we will likely choose a different time of year.

The casitas are cozy, and roomy. We had company every morning from the hotels mascots once breakfast was served. If you leave your door unlocked the dogs can open the doors! We loved the company mostly, being dog lovers and also made the mistake of treating them on our first day.

It did feel like a home away from home and it was nice after so many restaurant meals to go to the market and get some bread, wine, cheese and jamon and just stay in our cottage at night which had a kettle, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. I would definately recommend unless you need to be in the center of town.

My husband and I spent four nights here and we absolutely loved it. Driving in Chacras was a bit chaotic, to say the least, but as soon as you go through the gates it was like a fairy tale. It smelled like autumn, and was just lovely. We enjoyed coming home to the casa at the end of each day, it felt so homey and cozy. The heated towel rack was very nice:) The only problem we encountered was that the shower head was kind of crazy, I think it needed to be declogged because it had sharp sprays of water. The only thing not totally relaxing about the place, but it didn't bother us so much. The hotel is also in a convenient location for much of the activities outside of the city, such as vineyard tours and adventure tours. We went into the city one afternoon, but our main reason for visiting the region was for the countryside. The hosts were very friendly, helpful if you needed something, but also granted as much privacy as you want. The pets were fun, too! A great stay, would highly recommend.

It didn't matter that it was foggy, misty and rainy, and that the mountains were invisible until the morning of our last day. This was a beautiful place in which to experience autumn. The gardens of Casa Glebinias are maintained superbly and well planned to make the most of any season. Snugly enveloped by trees and shrubs, our cottage for four was cosy and welcoming. Our hosts Maria Gracia and Alberto made us feel at home immediately. Their knowledge of the local vineyards and restaurants was invaluable and thanks to them, we were able to profit from our two full days and nights and enjoy every moment. The dogs and cats made sure we enjoyed them too, and we did!

There simply cannot be a more beautiful and welcoming place to stay in Mendoza than Casa Glebinias! Very attractive and comfortable casitas; an expansive garden with truly beautiful trees, plants and flowers surrounding an inviting pool; very generous "delivered to your chalet" breakfasts; and the warmest of informative hosts that made our stay memorable. We will most assuredly return!
