I have just got back from a two week trip to marvell aparthotel with my husband and nine year old daughter and it was great the food was really nice only on one evening meal was the food not to our liking only because mushrooms appeared to be in most dishes. The pool area is well what can I say brilliant the size, the amount of loungers there was plenty and the fact that you cant get to the pool before 9.30 so you dont get any of this towels down by 7 the only thing I will say is that the pool is quite deep at shallow end if you have children that cant swim. The maids done a great job the room was very clean and despite what I read on other reviews we only heard a few youngsters coming and going early hours of the morning but being in our thirties I would like to think we are not that old ourselves. Entertainment was well what can I say not that good, but to be fair in the brochure that I booked from it didnt say it had any and it has only just gone all inclusive and they are trying to rectify that but there is always something going on outside for the children. Other than a couple of members of the staff they were friendly and helpful and the rep we had was great he was there if you needed him. All in all we had a great holiday and we would go back.

We (2 ads, 1 child, 1 baby) stayed here for 1 week on an all inclusive basis. It is the first time we had been away with the kids (18 months / 32 months!) so we just wanted something not too far and convenient. The Marvel Complex was actually recommended by a friend but would have to say was slightly disappointed.
One thing I will say is the accommodation was absolutely spotless, cleaned every day, clean sheets, towels etc etc. The complex was in an ideal location for us. Set in San Antonio Bay, about a 25 minute walk round the bay in to the centre of San Antonio. Not that we were raving! but it broke the day up walking round the bay. Outside the door was plenty of bars, restaurants and this place is absolutely ideal for kids - loads of play areas with bouncy castles, trampolines etc.
Now for the Marvell - really nice but the apartments were very small, the living area was not big enough to swing a cat and for those on SC all you got was a cooking unit with 3 rings in a confined area next to a dining table. The bedrooms were slightly bigger and we had a cot which still gave us room so can not complain on that. The pool area was pretty good too, large sized adults pool with separate kids area and pool bar. I suppose the most disappointing was the food. We went AI but the food seemed to be the same every day. Chips, chips and chips. Chicken nuggets or spring rolls for the kids, selection of salad and then beef, chicken or lamb every day. Food was not always boiling either. There was a snack area which consisted of ham, cheese and salad, burgers and sausages every morning and afternoon and again this was not varied.
We had a nice time overall but do not think I would return here.

Ibiza The Marvell San Antonio Bay Excellent

I have just returned from the Marvell . I spent a week with my husband and 16 year old daughter.We had a brilliant relaxing week . Pool ,food ,staff excellent.The beach bar waiter was really nice,we would chill out there when it got too hot and watch out over the bay.Dont miss the beautiful sunsets at the beach bar. No need to go on a boat trip to see this.
The room was small but big enough for the time spent in it.There is no real need to be in the rooms as there is plenty of food and drink on all day.All the areas were kept very clean. Plenty of sunbeds didnt have to fight for them in a morning.
Entertainment fairly poor but plenty to do outside . Shooters bar opposite hotel excellent for karaoke.
Would definately return to the the Marvell, ideal for a restful week.

Stopped Here 6th to 20th August 2 Adults 2 Children, Hotel is very clean maid service every other day. Staff very helpful any problems and the girls on reception were very helpful. Can be a little noisy on a night with the doors being keycard to open they have a tendancy to slam shut. Would advise getting a room poolside as these were a lot quieter. Pool Facilities were excellent very big and pool cleaned every morning. Never had any problem getting any sunbeds in the morning "everybody still in bed lol". If you want a beach holiday this hotel is not for you as the nearest beach is 15 minutes walk away. Me personally not beach fan suited me fine. Also ask at reception where the suma supermarket is its about a 5-10 minute walk but everything is half the price than the supermarkets round the hotel although these were reasonable. Recommend Watching the sunset from the bar to the right on the seafront an Excellent Experience.
