Just returned on Monday 25 Feb we stayed for 1 week 2 Adults 1 Child aged 7, On arriving at the Hotel we were greeted by 2 lovely ladies who spoke very good English, Check in was lovely and easy, we sayed on an All Inclusive basis. We found our room very easily using the map they provided, Rooms as many have said before are ok for what you need but could do with a bit of updating. Pool area is great plenty of sunbeds mind you the weather was not great for us 2 days sun, 2 days cloud and 2 days rain but it was still very warm and didn't keep us in. The location is great we went along to the Marina Rubicon and they have a market there Wednesday and Saturday we had some drinks overlooking the Marina and the drinks were no more expensive than anywhere else we stopped in Playa Blanca. The food at the Hotel is ok but like most places Breakfast is always the best it caters for everyones taste whether you like to have a healthy breakfast they always had lots of fresh fruit and yoghurts or freshly cooked pancakes or the traditional English breakfast. because the hotel was not that busy the restaurant was closed during the day so with us being AI we had to order our lunch at the pool bar it was freshly cooked but sometimes all you really want is a cheese bagette and most things came with chips. Evening meals were always nice but we still always have a few meals out we went to Jumbo Chinese and Tipico Canario which were both really nice they are along the promenade towards the ferry, We also had lunch one day at Don Camillos which was very nice the restaurant was packed and you have a good view of the ferry coming in and out. The childrens entertainers were excellent our daughter isn't really one for joining in but by the end of the holiday she was up doing all the dances, The entertainment for the adults is ok but the bar area is very small and a bit warm. All in all we had a lovely relaxing holiday and we will definately go back to this hotel again but on a self catering basis as all restaurants are close by. My husband went to Mollies Irish bar a few times to watch the footie and he found it a very friendly place.
