After reading numerous reviews about this hotel some very postive and some negative along with the fact that it is sold as a 4star when in fact it is a 3star I was slightly dubious about staying here. How wrong could I be? The hotel was clean, comfortable and the food was great. We went all inclusive and it was well worth it. I have stayed in many hotels throughout the Canaries and they can be very hit and misss (particularly the food when you are AI).

The staff were very friendly and you felt at home as soon as you arrived. The entertainment was alright, very much what you would expect from a package holiday. The rooms were very cleaned and spacious with everything you need (cooker, fridge etc).

Oasis Timanfaya Golf Apartments was a great winter break, me and my wife went all-inclusive and found the food and drink really good. Entertainment was organised around the pool as well as by one of the bar staff HAMZA who was managed to make us all laugh with his dressing in wigs and clowning around definately a providing a great nigh in the complex

we have recently returned from a break over christmas and new year to the timanfaya golf hotel, costa tequise. a great place for all the family. some reports i read before going seemed negative. my wife, son and daughter rated it very highly. the staff where nothing short of superb, the facilities were immaculate, entertainment was good and the choice of food was adequate. only on a couple of occasions was the food not to our liking but there was always something to eat. if you want five star go to a five star hotel. this was three star and surpassed the rating. i would have no qualms about returning. fantastic value for money.

just got back from a week staying in the timanfaya golf (23/12/07 to 30/12/07) it was our 8th wedding anniversary xmas eve. The hotel was ok but there were a few things i thought i must share with people who are thinking of going there: you are about 20/25 min walk to the nearest beach or shops (although they have a supermarket on site it shuts end of summer). Its not advisable for people with walking problems ( yes it has a lift but it only goes from reception to the dining room). If you are all inclusive you only get half pint glasses for your beer (plastic during day around pool) half board or self caterers get pint ones, you have too pay for BOTTLED WATER. there wasn't a lot of seat in the dining room and this wasn't a really busy time. Would we go back ? no
