My family have just returned from Elba Sara Hotel.
This is a nice hotel but room cleanliness left alot to be desired.
Sheets were not changed during our stay, and for 2 days room bins were not emptied.
The buffet selection was average, but hardly of a 4 star standard.
The All inclusive package was limited to certain drinks and certain snacks at the pool bar, during certain times.
General information was not readily available around the hotel, and entertainment is of an extremly poor standard.
Overall the staff were helpful.
This hotel is most definitely NOT of 4 star standard.

Stayed in room 446 29th Feb 2008 to 5th april 2008. Nice hotel, lovely room, grand view of sea, overall better than Elba Carlota (marginally). Better food choice but agree with another review about carrots for breakfast - a bit odd?
Overall very nice - beautiful weather - packed full of children but as I was there with my 2 it was great for them and it was Easter break.
I would definately go again with kids but if you want an adult only break avoid it like the plague as you really would want to be as far away from this as possible. Evening entertainment OK but kids club a bit poor especially for the 8 and above years - a little limited but mey be early in season for this to have kicked in?
No signing in and out of kids either which is a bit odd in this current climate - I would recommend that they start to do this for security reasons.

Nice beach area and nice walk into Caleta, about 15 good mins.

Most of the staff seemed overworked and unhappy until your last day of course... Bar staffing just the same problems as Carlota - just not enough of them for the clients and people getting very very irrate as no queing order and people pushing in.

Be good on with hotel information if they told you things like help yourself to drinks, in the dining room, at lunch time and wait for waiter service at dinner time as this is a bit embarrasing when you don't know. Handy for Macdonalds and Burger king if you get bored with the hotel food?

Four of us stayed here 19th March 08 to 26th March 08. The hotel itself is lovely, the reception staff very friendly and helpful, and everyhwere is very clean. Now for the downside! Let's start with breakfast - cold plates, undercooked bacon and cold too sometimes having to wait 10 minutes or more for it to come out. No sausages and when they made an appearance they were nott to get excited about. Baked beans more watery sauce than beans, If you like carrots and green beans with your breakfast you are on to a winner!. Evening meal - cold plates still, mostly the soup is vegetable but we did have a lovely hot tomato soup one evening. If you like cold sprouts in your salad - good for you. Pepper doused on the sweetcorn, most of the veg undercooked. Two days before our departure I had to wait until evening for my clean towels as the hotel was full, I was told (not really my problem). When I did get them they had stains or were ripped but had been washed - obviously they were old ones. Such a shame to spoil a very nice hotel. Wont go again.

This was our first time to Feurteventura and we were thoroughly delighted. Island is not as hectic as likes of Tenerife but just the kind of holiday we were looking for. Although it was xmas so a couple of things were closed but still found plenty to do. The elba sara is an excellent hotel. Lovely large room which slept the four of us easily. Hotel was very clean and staff were friendly. We were half board but next time think we would go back all inclusive. Food was excellent. We walked quite alot and there was a lovely bar at the end of a pier which you could sit in and watch over the sea. There was a shopping complex beside us which we walked to quite alot and had a bowling alley which the kids loved. The town beside the hotel was only a short walk and was very clean. Or you could get the free bus in.

Would definately go back to Elba Sara - think we have been spoiled there as now have quite a high expectation for our next hol back to tenerife.

Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hotels belonging to this chain.
