On the face of it, the menu looked good. Service was a bit casual, which I could live with. I think our ordinary experience was compounded with the fact that there was a national bowls comp next door, and a few of them piled into the restaurant on a "high" after a day of bowling. We had a rude bogan (bowler) next to us bellowing across the restaurant to fellow bowlers. Anyway, the meal. Wanted some bread but was offered pizza as some sort of starter, which was a bit like crisp bread with tomato sauce smeared across it, topped with chorizo type sausage and fetta, sort of ruined my appetite. I had the snapper in an asian broth, which could have been excellent, but was over cooked and should have had more veg than just bok choy. But the real disaster of the night was the wife's main, prawn salad completely over run with some sort of mayonnaise sauce, she didn't eat much of it.
Furnishings tired and a bit sticky seats, didn't bother staying for coffee. Very limited wine list, should let you byo. Won't be back, there is a lot of competition on the Coast. It would have been dead if the bowlers hadn't have been there, but then again, it's a shame they were.
