Fantastic hotel with really large suites with full cooking facilites, fridges etc. Staff very helpful but could not speak a lot of English. Listed as 5 star but whilst facilites (spa etc) may be 5 star there were a few broken floor tiles and other bits of maintenance required which should not be the case in a 5 star hotel which is less than 2 years old. The hotel was busy but apart from breakfast you very seldom saw other guests. Right on the beach. Can highly recommend.

Have just got back from a weeks stay at the Los Geranios Suites Aparthotel, Caleta De Fuste. The apartments are great - clean, modern, good design and large and are cleaned daily including any dishes, pans etc you leave in the sink. Bathrooms are smart and stocked daily. All rooms have a large balcony opening out on to the sea or pool areas. The pool is really smart with plenty of sun loungers and 2 no. adult pools and 1 no. kids pool. There is also a spa and fitness centre which is impressive but you have to pay for the various activites. Cant comment on the food as made own breakfast and ate out lunch and dinner. Reception staff were allways helpful and you can book excursions through them. One moan is that the plumbing (for a newish building) is not up to scratch. For three days we had to ring maintenance to provide hot water mainly in the mornings and we were not the only people to complain, in the end they replaced our shower, however this could be a prob in peak season. July is not peak season there so the hotel was practically deserted. Caleta De Fuste is nice (about 10 min from airport) plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to cater to everyones taste. Beaches are nice but the wind can be unbearable at times. The best beach is in front of the sheraton about 5min walk right from the front of the hotel. Would also recommend a trip to jandia on the south tip beaches there are much better and a trip to the north of the island is good.

Positives:
- Very friendly and helpful staff
- Chambermaids were great at keeping the rooms clean and tidy
- Spacious rooms with balconies
- Huge hotel with plenty of space
- Lovely big pool
- Right next to a beach
- Within walking distance to restaurants and shops
- Just far enough from the noise of the restaurants and shops
- Only 10 minutes by car from the airport
- Only 15 minutes by car from the capital, Puerto Del Rosario

Negatives:
- None! I was there during a "quiet" season (May) which was perfect for me - no noise, no crowds, had the whole hotel to myself (almost). Perhaps the only gripe is that you have to pay to use the jacuzzi / sauna / steam room / spa.

The only big negative thing I will say has nothing to do with the hotel, but with Thomas Cook. I had originally booked the holiday (flight and hotel) through Thomas Cook (online) and looked forward to my break. 7 days later I received an email (on a Friday evening) from Thomas Cook saying they couldn't confirm the hotel but had my flights on hold. They said if I didn't respond to them within 24 hours they would cancel everything and refund me. Why did it take them SEVEN days to inform me of this??

So I called them on Saturday morning and the girl was EXTREMELY unhelpful, offering no alternatives or explanations. I was cheesed off to say the least with this awful treatment and had to cancel the holiday.

So I went on to Expedia, booked the SAME hotel for the SAME duration with the SAME flights for the SAME price and it all went through beautifully.

Got back yesterday, I felt I had to write as before we went had looked on site and could find no recent reviews, so here goes:
Hotel rooms are very well laid out, you could see a lot of money and thought had been invested in them, we had a suite which had its own pool , downstairs large lounge, kitchen with a door to a small utility room with washing machine, upstairs huge bedroom with dressing area leading to ensuite, also upstairs a small boxroom which could be easily used for single bed (by request). What sold it for us was the small private garden with pool, it was not the biggest pool but certainly bigger than we had expected. The interior of the villas cannot be faulted and the feedback from other guests on their rooms was the same. Staff were fantastic could not do enough for you and did not have the usual language barrier difficulty, it was a bit on the quiet side but as we were off-peak season we were not to surprised. There was entertainment most nights and our kids really enjoyed the Dire Straits singer (who would generally sing any requests as diverse as American Idiot, pop and even Spanish eyes etc.) Our kids kept him very busy working through their MTV favourites. All in all a fab holiday, a great hotel and we will be going back.
