These guys, George and Alliana are what we call in Ireland 'legends'.
The level of service is fantastic and cannot be beaten even in very friendly Santorini. This is five star service at its best but at very reasonable prices. We got daily recommendations of where to go and visit, the level of detail down to Alliana writing what turns to take on the map and what roads to avoid.

I gave George a few 6 marker questions
......I need to find a phone number at home urgently?, no problem it was done.
.......I've left my camera battery charger at home? no problem, my brother in law has an identical one, I'll get it, charge your batteries and you can even take it with you to Mykonos (our next part of the trip was to Mykonos before we flew home from Santorini).

We had 2 small kids 1.5 and 3 years old and they loved the place.
What more can I say? If you like quality service, stay here and leave the guide book at home. You wont be dissapointed.

Traveled to Santoini with our 3 kids: 23 (just graduated from University and going to NYC for work), 8, and 4. What a superb place for families! George and Alina are so friendly, pleasant and helpful. The hotel is set in a beautiful village a short work from a beach lined with great restaurants. You can take a bus across the street to all the scenic spoots on the island. Inexpensive car or motor bike rentals are also available.
We booked online directly with George and all was perfect on our arrival. In fact it was our 8 year old's birthday and they arranged a very tasty cake and even decorated her room!

This hotel is simply lovely. We were greated by the owners George and Alina as soon as we arrived and were not allowed to lift our cases again. Eveything was taken care of down to a very welcome complimentry glass of cold beer. The hotel is spotless and beutifully decorated. The rooms are small but delightful with modern decor and furnishings. Every day we recevied a friendly greeting from reception. Nothing was too much bother for them. We have never recevied such fantastic hospitality anywhere before. The hotel is perfectly located in the village right by the beach, shops and tavernas. They have a lovely swimming pool and plenty of beds if you don't fancy going to the beach. Breakfast was good with a selection of continental items plus greek cheese pies and apple pastries. A simply great holiday all round. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.

We just got back from our Greece trip. Acqua Vatos hotel had a nice, clean, room with very friendly owners (as seen by the many reviews). I booked the hotel based on the rating in trip advisor and was not disappointed by the service or room condition. The price of the room was a great price.

The only down side to the hotel is the location. It is located about 100 yards from the Kamari beach on the east side of the island. In early May, it is too cold to swim in the beach so we didn't spend any time in Kamari. We spent all of our time in Fira and Ia.
